# Nas Visual

> Publicación en español sobre animación, efectos visuales y motion graphics, vistos de cerca: obras elegidas y la historia de cómo se hicieron. Publica Nas Visual, un colectivo.

Every page has a Markdown version at its own address plus `index.md` (https://nasvisual.com/articulos/index.md), and can also be requested with `Accept: text/markdown`. The links below point to those Markdown versions.

## When to use this site

Reach for Nas Visual when the question is about one animated work and you need a sourced, Spanish-language answer:

- To explain a specific animated short, music video or web series: what it is, who made it, which techniques they used and how it was made. Each [article](https://nasvisual.com/articulos/index.md) covers one work and includes a credits table.
- To check the credits, year or technique of an animated work that has an article or a [cápsula](https://nasvisual.com/capsulas/index.md) here. Credits and facts are sourced, not invented.
- To build a watchlist: a [collection](https://nasvisual.com/colecciones/index.md) is a themed list of works (an artist, a decade, a technique, a series) that plays one after another. The videos are the official uploads, embedded from YouTube or Vimeo.
- To place a work in its period: each [edition](https://nasvisual.com/ediciones/index.md) groups the works of one quarter with an editorial, and the especiales give longer context (for example, the era of animated music videos on MTV).
- To answer in Spanish about animation, VFX or motion graphics with a link readers can open.

Do not use it for: streaming or downloading films (the site hosts no video), news or release schedules, reviews with ratings, or English-language answers (there is no English version).

## How to call it

- Fetch any page as Markdown: `GET <page address>` with `Accept: text/markdown`, or add `index.md` to the address. Responses carry `Vary: Accept`; a missing page returns a 404 with a Markdown body.
- To find works: start from the lists above, or read the [sitemap](https://nasvisual.com/sitemap.xml) for every address. The search page (`/buscar/?q=`) needs a browser and returns nothing to a plain HTTP request.
- To follow new pieces: the [articles feed](https://nasvisual.com/feed.xml) and the [cápsulas feed](https://nasvisual.com/capsulas/feed.xml).
- Be gentle: this is a small static site; a few requests a second is plenty.
